Choose Walking instead of taking cable car in Huashan Mountain

Is it possible to Choose walking instead of taking cable car? Is yes, please guide.
And how about night visiting since I tempted to see the sunrise. Any tips about the night visit?

Yes, it is possible. If you would like to see the sunrise, you can start to climb at about 00:00. And maybe you arrive at the East Peak at about 05:00. You need to prepare the flashlight and gloves. Pay more attention to the safety at night.
