transport from t3 to downtown chongqing

Question

I will arrive by Air Asia in Chongqing T3 at 1.00 AM early Friday morning. I guess the metro is not working at this time. Taxis is too expensive and so I plan to take the shuttle bus. Where do I wait for the shuttle bus in T3 and where will this bus stop in downtown Chongqing? What time is the last bus? I plan to stay at Cangbai Road, Yu Zhong. Is the bus fare 15 RMB and can we pay to the bus driver or do we need to book in advance? Thanks for your advise.

Dear, at that time, there is no bus or metro running. You can only take a taxi and the fee is about CNY55 - 60. But if you don't want to take a taxi, the earliest metro is at 06:30. You can stay in the airport waiting hall or the hotel near the airport. You can also take the shuttle bus K01 departing from 08:30 to 23:59 and it would stop at Jiefangbei. The bus ticket fare is CNY15 per person and you just buy the ticket when you get on the bus.

Dear Fabian, thanks. If taxis are about 60 RMB to Jierangbei , then its ok as I read that it will cost more than 100 RMB past midnight for taxi rides from airport. Are the taxis metered or do we buy coupons first before boarding?
