visa application at chinese embassy karachi

There is no information about the confirmation that Chinese Embassy is open or closed at Karachi. I had visited today at Embassy with online form and appointment date with time but security inform that it was closed and you can submit your application at Islamabad Chinese Embassy, please let me confirm.

The Chinese Embassy in Karachi was attacked by terrorists. That's the reason why it is closed. I found this from their official website The Visa Section of the Consulate General of China in Karachi will be temporarily closed for a period of time. The approved visas and attestations can be collected on 15:30-16:30, 28th and 29th November 2018. The reopening time of The Visa Section will be informed later. Maybe you can apply from the Islamabad embassy, and you are advised to call them to confirm beforehand.
