About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

transit in Beijing from Air China

I'm an Indian Citizen, travelling with family. We have transit stops in Beijing for 14 hours during our flight from Delhi to Australia. Can we venture out of the airport to see the great wall? Will we be eligible for the 24 hour free transit?
