About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

with only a computer printed online onward ticket to country C

coming from Europe to HKG via Shanghai with Finnair. Wants to stop 4 days in Shanghai before going to HKG and the ticket to HKG is with Dragonair. As I can only check in 24 hours before departure to HKG, therefore, I just have an online confirmed ticket (a computer printed copy), is it enough proof that I am just in transit and can get this TWOV?

You can use the printed copy to apply for the TWOV. Don't worry.

Just make sure the print out has the 16 digit ticket number on it

You do not need a seat number. You just need a confirmed ticket (not standby).
