Shanghai Travel

Hi we are flying from the UK to Shanghai and arrive on Sunday 2nd Dec at 9am and will leave again on Wednesday 5th a 11am, we will travel to Yixing City in Jiangsu during that time to visit a supplier. Am i correct in presuming we can do all of this under the 144 hour free exemption , and we just need to fill the arrival and departure card in on the plane and request upon on arrival
