About:China Transit Visa

Transit with visa or visa free?

Hi! We are flying from Helsinki to Moscow to Shanghai to Chengdu to Auckland. We need to collect our bags in Shanghai so we need to come through customs. We won't be leaving the airport in either Shanghai or Chengdu. Our stay in China will be less than 24 hours, do we need entry permit?

You don't need visa because you can use 24h twov in mainland China.
