Validity period for L Visa

Hi. I will be applying for an L in late January 2018 to travel in China for around 3 months. What is the validity period (i.e. how long do I have to enter China once my visa is issued) of the L? I am travelling to Malaysia before China, so I won't be entering China until early March. Thank you

Usually, you need to enter China within the following 3 months once your visa is issued.
