About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

23 hour layover in Xiamen

Hello,

I have a 23hour layover in Xiamen before flying to the Philippines. Do I need to get a Visa if I have a US passport? Also, do you recommend to leave the airport? what recommendations do you have to do during a long layover that's easy.

should be no problem. 23 hours is way too long to be in the airport.

You can apply for 24-hour visa-free entry permit in 4 steps:
Fill an Arrival/Departure Card at the border inspection counter
Get the temporary entry permit stamp or sticker
Claim the luggage (if needed)
Go through the customs
