About:China Train

Huangshan Scenic Area during Christmas

Would be visiting Huangshan Scenic Area on 24 December 2018, a Christmas Eve Day. Will it be a peak season then? Is it difficult to get bus tickets from Tunxi to Tangkou then? Afraid there will be a big crowd then. Hope someone can enlighten me. Thank you.

Winter time is not a peak season for traveling, it should not be hard to find bus. Private cars can also be found.

Don't worry, Christmas is not a national holiday in Mainland China and 24 DEC 2018 is Monday. Most people from nearby big cities like Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing and Hefei won't have enough time to visit Huangshan.
