About:China Visa Fees

Do we require a transit visa or a visit Visa?

Hi
I will be transiting in Xi An airport from Singapore for 5 hours and then in Guangzhou for 4 hours until my flight to Auckland. I am traveling by two different airlines. The airlines have requested me to apply for entry permit as we have to check in our luggage once again in China.

You need a visit visa to pass through immigration and collect your baggage, unless you are eligible for 72/144 hour free transit.
