About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Visa free period

New Zealand passport holders. If we are staying in Hong Kong can I take my Family to Guangzhou for the afternoon by train without a visa? Is there a free transit period?

You can try to apply for the Guangzhou VOA in your case. You are advised to contact the transit station to inquire if you can get that for sure beforehand.

You need a visa to take the train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. There is no Guangzhou VOA.
