getting to yangdi pier from guilin west train station

Question

We arrive at Guilin west station at 1203 (with 20 kilos of luggage each). We’d like to go straight to Yangdi Pier and raft to Xingping, 9mindful the last raft leaves MID-AFTERNOON) then onwards to spend the night in Yangshuo. Is this practical?

Yes, it is practical. If you take the bus from the railway station to the pier, you may miss the bamboo raft departing at mid-afternoon. You are advised to take a taxi. The duration is about 75 minutes.  The traveling time from Yangdi to Xingping by bamboo rafting is about 70 minutes. After you get off at Xingping, you can take a free electromobile with your bamboo rafting ticket to the Xingping Bus Station where you can take the bus to Yangshuo.
