About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Change from business visa to student visa within China

Hi, do you know if it is possible to apply for a student X at the end of a business M, within China? Thank you! I want to stay longer and do an intensive course of Chinese, but I don't want to have to spend a lot of money by traveling to Hongkong, having to wait there for a few days etcetera.

You can try to change your business M type into the student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go to HK for that.
