DC to Shanghai to Kalibo to Shangai to DC

If I am flying roundtrip in and out of Shanghai with the Philippines added in the middle of the trip. Can I enter when I arrive, leave a day later to the Philippines, then enter into Shanghai again for a day before I leave back to the US? Does the 144 hour free transit still work? Thank you
