About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

I have an international transfer in China and I am taking a banana tree plant home. Will they allow?

I am flying from Thailand to usa and I am wanting to take a couple small banana trees back with me to plant when I get home. What are the rules for plants

As I know, the plant is prohibited to take into China but I'm not sure if it is available if you just transfer.
