About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Wanted to check if this itinerary might work for 144 hours visa free policy in Shanghai?

US -> SH 5 days; SH -> Canada (transit) -> US

Yes, you qualify for the 144-hour free visa and make sure you have got the interline tickets and you are only allowed to move in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu.
