About:China Customs Declaration

Can I bring in leaves from Canadian maple trees which have changed to fall colors as gifts?

the leaves were collected recently and have been waxed

Generally, it is not allowed to take any plants to China, so maybe you need to change a gift.

thank you Nina for your kind reply. I do have other gifts but these would be rather unique and I am unsure if "dead" leaves qualify as plants, although I am aware of the concerns about possible infestations.
