Shen Zen (downtown) to Guangming - where to stay?

Hi, I need to visit my dad in a Guangming hospital. Travelling to Canada by myself, first time. Nervous as I don't speak any Mandarin. Would you be able to recommend where to stay, somewhere safe, ie hotel recommendations or areas which would make it easy to travel to Guangming? And if I'm travelling everyday, is there a weekly, monthly pass? Thanks

Do you mean the Central Hospital of Guangming New District which located at No.39 Huaxia Road, Guangming Street, Guangming District, Shenzhen City? Vienna International Hotel (Shenzhen Guangming Avenue) is less than 1km to the hospital. If you do not speak mandarin, I would suggest you install a translation APP on your phone to help you. And most young people in the city can speak basic English and most of places have English signs in Shenzhen. As for the weekly or monthly pass, do you mean the transportation card? As I know, there are only single journey ticket and one-day travel pass for the subway. You can purchase the Local Transportation Card and return it back before leaving.
