About:Guangzhou - Zhuhai Intercity High Speed Train

ARE16 MINUTES SUFFICIENT FOR TRANSFER FROM C7638 to G6549 at Guangzhou South Railway Station?

I booked train ticket for train C7638 Zhuhai (departs at 10.00 am) to Guangzhou South (arrives at 11.07 am).
Next ticket I booked is for train G6549 departs at 11.23 am. It means I have 16 minutes for transfer from C7638 to G6549. ARE 16 MINUTES SUFFICIENT FOR TRANSFER FROM C7638 to G6549, or I need more time?
Which platform arrives C7638 and which platform departs G6549?

There is transfer passage at the station offered for passenger who need to make transfer within 30min. Without delay, 16min is still OK. The platform cannot be know in advance, you need to go via the passage and reach the waiting area first, finding your checkin gate, then checkin again. However, if there is a delay of the first trip, you will miss it. If you are very worried about it, it would be better if you can depart a little earlier from Zhuhai to have around 30min between the trips.
