About:Sichuan Maps

I see Luoyang Longmen Caves, Shaolin temple and peonies.Arrive 9AM beijing on saturday

need to be in Xian next day by 9PM. What is the best way of doing it? fast train a possibility? thank you, eileen

Hi Eileen, as I know, the flowering period of peonies is from April to early May, so it is not suitable to see peonies at this season.

Upon arrival at Beijing, you can take a high speed train to Luoyang and stay overnight. Next morning, you may take bus to visit Shaolin Temple and back to Luoyang, then visit the Longmen Caves if time permits before heading to Longmen Railway Station for a high speed train to Xian. As your time is quite limited, you are suggested to charter a car or join a local tour with a travel agency to save time. Hope the information helps.

High speed train from Beijing airport to Luoyang- do i need to buy ticket from UK or on-line; can i buy at high speed train station. Also which is the high speed train station i should travel from? many thanks eileen

I kindly suggest you book the high speed train tickets online in advance to ensure the availability. The high speed train from Beijing to Luoyang leaves from Beijing West Railway Station and arrives at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station.
