No visa can authorize a stay for more than 180 days. If she is a naturalized American but with a Chinese national grandparent, parent or sibling, she can apply for a Q2 but the duration of stay may only be either 120 days or 180 days per entry. Any longer will require either an extension or exiting and re-entering Mainland China. If she was born in the US but parents are Chinese nationals, then she needs either a visa or a travel document based on whether she possesses Chinese nationality.
