About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

I from Italy. I need go to Guangzhou only 2 days. I have flight from Malaysia on 6th sep 2018

and I go back to Singapore on 8th sep 2018
Can I use 72 hour free visa?

Malaysia-Guangzhou-Singapore clearly qualifies for 72 hours transit without visa in China if those are your only stops and you have an Italian passport. But you know that 6th Sep 2018 was already six weeks ago?
