About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

Someone told me that I would need a doctors letter to bring my prescription medications into China

is this correct? When i visited my GP to get my vaccination advice and update my medications he did not say anything.

Yes, it is better for you to have a prescription from your doctor since the customs may check it. Maybe your doctor is not clear about the rules about immigration.
