About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72-hours visa free

Hi there, planning to fly from London to Shanghai, landing on 4th Nov at 9 am, leaving for Tokyo on 7th at 11:30 am: would the 72 hours twov exemption apply. Also is it ok for the Shanghai-Tokyo let to be on a separate ticket than the London-Shanghai-Tokyo.
Thank you

Yes, you can apply for the free transit in Shanghai and separate tickets will be fine.
