how is the transportation from Shanghai to west lake by normal bus or tourist bus. where to catch the bus, bus timetable and fare. thank you

You are advised to take the high speed train at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to HZ East Railway Station. There are many trains running between the two cities from 06:00 to 21:30 and the ticket fare is CNY56/ 73/ 77 due to different train types.After you arrive at HZ East Railway Station, you can take the metro line 1 and get off at Longxiang Birdge station. Get out of Exit C and walk about 200 meters, you will see the lake. The metro fare is about CNY2.
