About:Shanghai to Xian Train

Z92 vs D306

I am wondering which one is a better option for a family of 4 with 3 year old kid? Is it safe to use night trains? Thanks.

Z92 takes a little longer in time but it will reach Xian Station which is closer to the city center area. The ticket price for soft sleeper cabin is also much lower then D306. However, Z92 is an old one so the facilities are not as good as D306. You can consider these and make the decision. It is no problem to do an overnight trip especially if you book a whole soft sleeper cabin. The kid can board for free.
