About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

iS 72 HOUR twov OK IF ARRIVING BY AIR AND LEAVING ON CRUISE SHIP

I am arriving by air direct into Shanghai, from Australia, staying 2 nights, then departing on cruise ship for Japan.

Picture diagrams above show 72 hour twov requires you to leave by air only, whereas 24 hour direct transit allows departure by ship.

Thanks

Shanghai doesn't carry the 72h twov.

You can use the 144h twov and it's fine to leave by ship.
