hi, i will be travelling to chengduwill be flying in to shuangliu airport terminal 1.

Question

Will I be able to find a shop that sells SIM cards? If so, is it reliable to get the SIM card from the airport or will I be better off buying one when I get into the city? Any advice appreciated, thank you very much!

Someone said no but someone said yes, so you are advised to have a try to look for in the airport or ask the airport staff. If you cannot find that, you'd better buy one after you get into the downtown.
