About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa free entry

I am a us citizen traveling from USA to Vietnam. With an overnight layover of 12 hours in Guangzhou. Will this be approved for the 24 hour free entry?

Should be no problem. Assuming this is China Southern you can go to Home>Online Services>Transit Accommodation and select a free layover hotel.
