About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

My US passport is valid till May 2026, can I still get the 10 year visa?

I am a US citizen and my passport is valid until May 2026, about 7.5 years left until it expires. Am I able to get the 10 year entry permit if I only have 7.5 years left on my visa?

You can as long as your passport has more than 1 year of remaining validity left. You'll need to travel with two passports when your current one expires, however, given your Chinese visa will still be in your old passport.
