where to buy food in a supermarket in beijing?

We would like to know if there are vegetables to buy in supermarkets like cucumbers, tomatoes,and what about bread,cheese or cream in Beijing? Which supermarket please? Our hotel is Sunworld Dynasty Beijing.

Yes, there are supermarkets in Beijing where you can buy the vegetables and other food you have mentioned. Maybe you can consider Wal-Mart in Xuanwu Gate, and the distance between Wal-Mart to your hotel is around 7.5km. You can walk to Dengshikou Station and get on Subway Line 5 and get off at Ciqikou Station, then transfer to Subway Line 7 and get down at Caishikou Station. Upon arrival, you can walk about 700m to Wal-Mart. The subway journey will be around 40 minutes. Besides, I suggest you to take a taxi which will cost less than 30 minutes on the way.
