What foods can I bring into China?

I will be traveling to China Saturday the 10th of November 2018. I eat a vegan diet and would like to bring pre-cooked and pre-packed beans and rice, a powdered protein and greens mixture, and chia seed/flax seed ground into meal. Given food safety concerns, I thought I should ask if such foods are allowed? Do you have a list of food items I should not take with me?

Thank you

Well, you are suggested not to take the cooked food since the customs are very strict about checking the food and there is no specific lists of food which you can take or can't. But don't worry too much and it's easy to find some vegetarian restaurants in Shanghai. Nice trip!
