About:Qinghai Lake

In winter time is there any public transport operate to QingHai Lake from Xining town ?

Possible go & return within a day ?
What is the last bus I have to catch to back to XN?
How to go Mt Sun & Moon from QH lake ?
is there any hotel near QH Lake , can recommend ?

Yes, it is possible.
You can take the earliest bus departing at 07:30 in the Xining Bus Station to Erlangjian scenic area. When you return to Xining, you can take the bus at the Erlangjian scenic area. The most popular and convenient way is to rent a car. The last bus back to Xining is at about 17:00. You’d better consult the schedule when you arrive at Erlangjian scenic area. On the way, you will pass the Mt. Sun & Moon.
Recommended hotel: Yunshuijian Resort Hotel, about 5 minutes’ walk from the Erlangjian scenic area; the hotel is located at 151 Xincun.
