How many hours can I be in Bejing without a visa

I have a Canadian passport and will be traveling through Bejing and on to Thailand and returning the same way

If you would travel like Canada-Beijing-Thailand-Beijing-Canada, you can apply for 144h free transit in Beijing in both ways, which means you can stay in Beijing for up to 6 days each time.
