Does South Africans qualify for the 72-hour free transit when in-transit?

Hi, you won't qualify for the 72h free transit policy. Try to apply for a visa for the trip to mainland China.

Hey. Even just for layover without wanting to leave the airport? I'm flying from Johannesburg - > Beijing - > Chengdu - >Phuket. I have no plans to exit the airport

Still no. When you wanna use the 72h twov, just 1 stop within China is allowed.
