About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Chicago-Shanghai-Tokyo-Denver

I will be flying from Chicago directly to Shanghai, staying for 2 days in Shanghai, then flying from Shanghai to Tokyo, with a 3 hour layover in Tokyo, then flying to Denver. Does this qualify for the transit visa?
