Also our family (4 adult + 2 children aged 6 years old) will be spending 4 days in HK... is it better to buy the octopus card and use it throughout our stay? At the end we return it back and get a refund?

Take bus 171 to Aberdeen Tunnel and you will see the park. It’s better to get the octopus card for your 4 days’ stay. Enjoy your time!

Can we take the MTR from our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Mongkok) to Ocean Park instead of the bus?if yes please advise from which MTR station should we board and get off at?Thanks!

Yes, metro is also available. Take Tsuen Wan Line t Admiralty and interchange to South Island Line to Ocean Park Station. It takes about 30 minutes.
