Flight Birmingham - Shanghai

Hi my flight is Birmingham - Paris - Shanghai and the same on return, is this allowed for 144hr twov?

If your route is Birmingham-Paris-Shanghai-Paris-Birmingham then you must get a visa in advance or change your flights. That's a visit to China and not a transit.
