About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australia to Seoul with stop in Guangzhou and Beijing

I'll be flying to Seoul from Adelaide, Australia in November.
I fly from adelaide to Guangzhou with a 3 hour layover, then from Guangzhou to Beijing with an 8 hour layover before going on to Seoul.
I would like to spend some time in Beijing to avoid waiting in the airport for 8 hours. Since I'll be flying from Guangzhou to Beijing, would I still be eligible for the 72hour visa when I get to Beijing?

It doesn't exist any 72h visa in China.
With 2 stops in China you're eligible for the 24h transit.
