About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

X2 visa. Hey i have an X2 for 6 months

I'm in China since August 30th, now my question is I want to work with a company here, what can I do? How can I apply for a this temporary residence permit or what can I actually do to work with that company?

Hi, personally I think you need to have a work Z type to work in China legally. You can try to convert your X2 type into work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don't need to go back to your home country for that.

You should prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its copy, the application form, passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, work permit from your employer as well as others. Then, submit the application to the local PSB to convert the student X type into work Z type.
