About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Is 144hr Visa transit still available when stopover during is less than 24hrs?

My flight schedule is from Incheon to Auckland via Shanghai. The flight will land at Pudong at around 10am and the departure to Auckland is around 23pm on the same day. I would like to have a short trip for the city. So, do I need a visa or 144hr-visa free transit is applicable to me although my stopover hour is less than 24 hours?

In fact, you are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit. You don't need a visa and applying for a stay permit in the Pudong airport is enough.
