About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Pietro from Italy to Taiwan

I am an Italian guy and in November I'll fly to Taiwan from Milan. I'd like to spend 4 days in Beijing during the way to Taiwan and 3 days in Shanghai during the way back to Milan. Is possible to use the 144 hours free entry in each the situation?

Thanks

This is considered 2 separate transits
Milan > Beijing > Taiwan is 1 transit
Taiwan > Shanghai > Milan is another.

Just make sure there are no other landing in mainland china other that what you listed above.

Is there any limitation on number of transits you can have in a year?

There is no limits on how many times you can apply for the free transit in a year. Don't worry.
