what is the best way to go to Mt Shimen from Taichung ? How long will be the travelling time ? Thank

You can take a train from Taichung to Hualien and it takes about 5 hours.The train departs from 7:28, 7:54, 8:24. 13:30, 15:28, 15:57, and 19:28. Then you can take a bus to Taroko, the bus departs from 7:00 to 15:10 with an interval about 1 hour and it takes about 40 minutes to get there.
