About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi -Flying from USA - 72 hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be traveling from USA --->Thailand --->Guangzhou---->USA, I see that Thailand isn't listed as the qualified countries. Does my itinerary qualify for the 72 hour twovs free transit since my initial and final destination is the USA? Thanks!

Its based on Passport. The listed countries are the 53 passports eligible for the 72 hour transit. If you have US passport you can transit in Guangzhou on the way home from Thailand. Just be sure Guangzhou is the only Chinese city your plane lands in.
