what will the new customs be like?

Question

How are they going to run the new customs process for this high speed train between SZ and HK? Will everybody have to depart the train and then go through two customs channels (1 for mainland and 1 for HK)? Will this process be faster than passing through regular customs at the various border crossings that already exist?

The customs is set up inside the West Kowloon station, like you said, you will go through one for mainland and one for HK, but together in same floor. I suppose it should take within 45min usually based on the information online.
