About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is there a limit to how many 24hr TWOVs a person can use?

I'm from the US and the traveling I plan to be doing would likely involve Guangzhou as a layover location on multiple occasions. Here's a general summary of the flights I intended to purchase:

Start of trip: USA-->Guangzhou-->3rd country
One week later : 3rd country-->Guangzhou-->4th country
1-2 weeks after that: 4th country-->Guangzhou-->USA

Would that be possible, or would I not be able to enter China that many times in such a short period, even under 24-hour direct transit rules?
