About:Shanghai Travel

Do we require a visa.

We are flying into Shanghai from Heathrow via Doha. We arrive in Shanghai at approx 14.15, we are staying overnight and then boarding a cruise ship the following day out of Shanghai. We both have British passports. Please can you confirm if we require any form of visa? Many thanks.

If you pan to cruise from SH to another country and you are eligible for the 144-hour free-visa transit. Then you don't need a visa and preparing a passport valid for at least three months from the date of entry, a valid visa to the third country or region if required, and a ticket to a third country or region to apply for a stay permit in the SH Airport is enough.
