Getting a student visa in China

I live in China, parents work in the embassy ! I recently come back from my country but I never got the student X there because I didn’t have an acceptance letter from the university yet! So I need a visa because I already got the confirmation from the university. My question is , do I need to get the entry permit in my country or I ca get it here?

If you currently have a Chinese visa, you can try to change it into a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. If it can be done, you don't need to go back to your home country for that. Just give it a try.
