About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

We are stopping here for approx 5 hours each way from Australia to Paris.

All flights with China southern. Do we need to recheck luggage or will the be done automatically?
Also what can I do with a 7 year for 5 hours?

No, you don’t need to recheck the luggage. As for the child, you may take him to the KFC in the 1st floor of T2 inside the airport.
